The founder of Songwriting Media, Inc., David W. Edwards, knows what it’s like to start out as a new songwriter. You have so many questions about how and where to get started on getting your songs heard. David started reading books and asking questions from hit songwriters and people who were in the music business. David, who has been very successful in the business world, at this point decided he wanted to help others who go through this process of learning the do’s and don’ts of songwriting and attempt to make it as a professional songwriter. He decided to design a network for artists and songwriters in Nashville and around the world to communicate and find answers to questions like “how can I make it as a songwriter?”
There are lots of websites, books, magazines, and songwriter’s associations that are out there for you to get information and answers to your songwriting questions. We support anyone who provides information for songwriters. Knowledge breeds confidence. Songwriting Media, Inc. and David W. Edwards is the first to attempt a project as huge as starting 18 regional songwriting help websites, 18 sister MySpace sites, Facebook sites, an online songwriting magazine, as well as a future radio program and a future printed songwriting magazine. Our goal in short is to dominate the songwriting world when it comes to media!
